Age verification is isolating people

1. The source is greed
politicians aren't the source of the idea, the idea comes from companies lobbying for it
the politicians are older and dont realize what kids lives are like, they have beliefs based on when they where young, not what now is like
the companies arent pushing for "safety", they are pushing to force you to give them your data

for the adults that care about privacy this takes spaces away from them
for the kids, it isolates them, makes life less enjoyable, hurts their ability to become functioning members of society in the future.
2.1. Why cant kids have a space
Malls are too expensive, you might get an hour at school, parents dont want to constantly have that many people around, people dont like seeing groups of teens lingering around, so the city parks are policed and gas is expensive so further parks are prohibitive too, theres no crown land near the cities either, you cant be noisy in a library. So where do the kids go? they rely on online spaces for a legal space to hang out.
what happens to the kids when the spaces they use become illegal too? they arent just going to stop hanging out, they just will stop caring if where they spend their time is illegal.
3. call to action
Speak up, make your voice heard, write to your representatives, go vote if you can, fight back, show that you hate it, protest, write more letters to your representatives, get your friends to join in, cost the companies more money than you make them
3.1. how can I cost them more than i make them?
upload LOTS of videos to to their websites, if you can make those videos just static to make it as uncompromisable as possible so they waste more storage
use ad blockers

switch to platforms that are ran by their communities, choose open source platforms
3.1.1.2 choose an open source browser
switch to a firefox based browser, not chrome,edge,opera,or safari
3.1.1.3 get rid of all the trackers

Method A. open source all the way down
rip out windows, chromeos, or macos COMPLETELY move to linux, where there is no one company that has complete control
I personally recommend CachyOS, Arch Linux, and Linux mint
Method B. rip the trackers out of windows

make use of a windows debloater to remove the trackers from windows
